Ep.235 | 5 Minute Drill | Persevere During a Pit Stop

Why is persevering worth it?

In Romans 5:3-5, we get one of the main reasons why. The verse says, “…suffering produces perseverance and perseverance produces CHARACTER.”

Great. One HUGE benefit to persevering is you get character. I get it – you desperately need character to not only keep in the race you’re in, but also WIN it. But HOW the heck do you persevere when things get tough?

In today’s 5 Minute Drill, we’re going to tackle this as I continue my 4-part series on purpose pit stops. It’s all about doubling down on a few particular habits that, when coupled with some prayer and praise, WATCH OUT! Talk about a hurdle jumped (and then some)! So, if you want to persevere like the best of the best do, then lock in to today’s Drill.

In this episode, you’ll hear:

  • Why skipping over prayer and praise doesn’t work.
  • The formula for persevering under challenging circumstances.
  • Your mind, heart, and body’s role in persevering.
  • The mind-body connection and the need to treat the body right to keep the mind healthy.
